Long pants – sturdy denim recommended
Dress for the weather (coat gloves, etc)
Rugged shoes.
Please: We will need parents for supervision and to drive to clean-up
location
Starting at Ellis Road at Prince William Pkwy to Signal Hill Rd ending
at Bent Tree Ln
Satety Notes:
• DO NOT PICK UP BROKEN GLASS, Hazardous materials or dead animals,
call an adult
• Wear plastic (or garden) gloves, replace them when
necessary
• Do not climb up or down the embankment on the gavel part of
the road
• Stay with your partner
• Listen for oncoming traffic, stay clear of moving
vehicles
Severe weather could cancel the event – check website early if
weather is a question.
Registered Adult Paperwork
Reminder: Please bring your completed Registered Adult Paperwork with your 3
letters of References to Wednesday's Meeting.

1. Print and follow all
instructions. All fields must be filled out completely.
2. Use a separate sheet for
explanations if necessary.
3. You must obtain
a character reference letter from each of your 3 references.
-- Person cannot be a
relative nor a registered adult.
-- Person must have
known you at least 1 year.
-- Cannot be a form
letter.
-- Letters must be dated
within 6 months of date of application.
-- Letters must include
date, mailing address, phone number and signature.
4. Attach a current color
photo.
5. Sign and date your
application.
6. Attach a check for $20
made payable to Young Marines.
7. Make a color copy of your
application (including your photo, Drivers License, Military ID, etc.) for your
file.
8. Bring original application
to January 6 meeting. (no later than the January 13
meeting)

ADULT to be considered:

Training

Adjutant (Debbie's current

Unit Staff
Support
Staff
Community Service
Coordinator
Volunteer drivers,
Etc.
Any adult, including Active Duty Marines,
that directly deals with the Young Marines must be a REGISTERED
ADULT. Parents have a vital role with the Manassas Young
Marines. It is very important that we get parents registered as soon as
possible. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to let me
know.
